Restaurants & Bars

Pho Dakao, Framingham

Finally we have a Viet restaurant between Worcester and Boston. It started rough as I sat at the bar for lunch. After a few minutes I walked to the hostess and grabbed a menu. I had #18, big bowl of pho with rare round, brisket, tripe and tendon. The broth was good, not too rich and the meats were just right. Tendon and tripe were very tender. I prefer a slight bite. Beans sprouts and basil were very fresh. Iced coffee was tasty, a little too much crushed ice. Not too sweet, the way I like it. They just bring it ready, no drip filter.
Nice buildout, a good Saturday lunch crowd and an inviting menu. They have a full bar with the usual suspect taps. I will return.
