Pho and Crawfish at Next Generation in Monterey Park

Chandavkl | Aug 26, 201502:48 PM     5

These days it's anything goes with pairings of cuisine so why not Pho and crawfish, though not in the same dish. There are only six pho selections on the menu are four of them are variations of filet mignon. (The other two are shrimp and chicken.) But I do have to say the filet mignon pho was the best bowl of pho I can recall having a long time, with tasty broth, tasty meat, and properly cooked noodles. The Cajun side of the menu is even shorter--Cajun shrimp with unique Louisiana seasonings, and the Louisiana original Cajun crawfish basket. Also sides of potatoes, corn and sausage. New Generation is at 230 N. Garfield Ave., #D12, in the other arm of the shopping center with Dean Sin World and Spicy Girls.
