I want to thank the posters to this board -- I checked the listings last week to find a place to take my elderly parents for their 60th anniversary. Someplace they wouldn't know about that was not outrageously expensive but that would have excellent food. A posting steered me to Sunfish Grill in Pompano. Great choice. They were interesting, friendly, outstanding food. My dad (who doesn't eat much) loved the Bahamian chowder and the swordfish appetizer (chunks of swordfish sauteed with asparagus tips and mushrooms). Mom liked the braised clam appetizer (typical of her -- she complained about the small size of the clams) and the pasta with shrimp. I had the swordfish entree special, served with asparagus and mushroom risotto, and my husband had the diver scallops with maple syrup, lentils, carrots, and chopped tomato pieces (sounds odd, but tasted great). Thanks again.
