man, oh, man, had the beef ribs in the very hot sauce today and now remember once again what bbq is all about. none of the sweetness, heavyness, and utter non-deliciousness of other bbq, this is where it's at. and here the sauce is also king. today, the beef rib was ultra tender, smokey, had that great redness from slow cooking over hickory wood or what notn (don't know if it's hickory for sure or not, like eating bbq, though never attempted at my own smoker barrel). anyways, this is where it's at, just tried the beef ribs there today, so can't speak of anything else. maybe it was the factor that i haven't had phillip's in a while but it was better than usual. as for la bbq, ribs wise at least, this is the best.
