I can finally contribute something to this board :) I know there were some disappointed members when La Petite Margaux closed about a year and a half ago. Well, the chef has returned to Montreal. He's now the chef at L'Entre Miche, 2275 St-Catherine East. We stopped in for lunch today, and had a delightful meal. My wife had the duck breast served with a passion fruit sauce. The duck was done just right and the portion perfect for a lunch. It was served with a tomatoe and basil salad, mashed potatoes which were served on top of some crisp veggies. There was also a breaded pyramid that reminded me of arranchini. I had the veal, thin slices which were apparently topped with a nut mixture and then rolled up. Two of these "roll-ups" were tooth-picked together, and grilled. The serving included three of these roll-up pairs; once again, plenty for a lunch serving. This was served with the tomatoe salad (or choice of soup) as well as the other items served with the duck.
We each had a glass of wine, (sorry I can't comment on the wine list as that's not my area of expertise) creme brulee and coffee. $70 covered everything, including a generous tip.
