I have eaten at Peter Lugers three times in the last twenty years. The steaks are the best that I have had but are of a different size to those one finds in England. I have described the size and quality of the steak and whilst British beef can be of excellent quality my butcher does not believe the size of a steak for two. Our principle beef cattle are Aberdeen Angus, Hereford or occasionally belted Galloway but none of these beasts can produce these size steaks. My question is, what breed of cattle produce such a cut?
