We tried this restaurant last night after the flower show. It is a small restaurant on 11th street between Arch and Race. The atmosphere was quite casual, but at the same time was relaxing and quiet. The menu included dishes that were Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Malaysian. I usually dont like places that try to do every cuisine as they usually dont do any of them well, but this place is the exception.
Highlights included the Malaysian Chow Fun, which was a light and fluffy chow fun dish with shrimp, fish balls, small pieces of egg, baby bok choy and spices. It really was one of the best chow fun dishes we have ever had. It was mildly spicy. The twice cooked pork was delicious, spicy with bell peppers and cabbage. We had the Pho with beef ball and other cuts of beef, which had a nice broth and was good, but not as good as Pho 75. The kids ordered spare ribs that were very good, meaty, well sauced, with a smoky flavor. The people running the restaurant were extremely friendly and gave good service, and the chef came out and was very nice.
Next door there is a gelato place that we have tried in the past. They have delicious gelato imported from Italy. Especially good are the coffee and the hazelnut. I think the two places are owned by the same people.
