I am trying to come up with new ways to cook veggies. I have two small kids who are not bad veggie eaters, but we're getting bored with our current variations (roasted; steamed with lemon-olive oil; sauteed with vinegar-sugar; green salad). I found a little bit of pesto sauce in the fridge and thought I might steam some veggies and just toss with pesto. Is this weird or good? I've put pesto on noodles (obviously) and on poached chicken breast too. Would broccoli work? Green beans? Another veg?
