Pescatarian/vegetarian romantic dinner

Magelet | Jul 18, 2017 01:29 PM

Looking for somewhere special for an anniversary dinner on a weeknight. In SF, Oakland, Berkeley, Tiburon or Sausalito. Someplace quiet and romantic, I'd like to be able to hear eachother talk.

Our budget is up to $250ish for two people, without alcohol. (But I'm also happy to spend less, I don't NEED to spend that much.)

We like just about anything but have a few dietary restrictions:
I'm pescatarian and don't eat shellfish, or swordfish. My sweetie eats anything (including meat and shellfish), except salmon and tuna, both of which I eat. We're both happy with vegetarian food too, as long as it's delicious and interesting and not been overdone by everyone. (I have had so so so many butternut squash raviolis with brown butter and squash, oy.)

I had a few thoughts and would love other suggestions:
- Greens (I love it, but we've been many times and it's not new and special anymore)
- Millenium (likewise, been 3x this year)
- Shizen
- sushi of some sort. Who's really good and quiet?
- Petit Crenn
- Trestle
- Mister Jiu's

Other ideas?
We're 3 weeks out so we have time to make a reservation but not a hotly contested one.
Thank you!

Petit Crenn,
Shizen Vegan Sushi Bar and Izakaya,
Greens Restaurant,
Mister Jiu's
