Had breakfast with a friend at Stock in the Trump tower, his choice. I've been once before for lunch and the burger was excellent. My only complaint with the place is that it's over priced. I should add the eggs bene were a dud, placing them on a bagel cracker made no sense as far as soaking up the yolk or eating it with a knife and fork.
Back to the scones, they were moist without being under done, rich and didn't need the addition of jam or butter, and were golden brown on the outside. I could tell a lot of butter was used in the recipe. I wouldn't change a thing. My feeling is this is what all scones should be like.
