A Perfect Lunch

Sorry. I'm not sure anyone needs to read this but when a meal satisfies as much as the one I had today at Angelini in Hollywood I'm going to report. The company helped as it always must, and young Gino is one of this city's finest and most hospitable hosts. Watching him filet a Dover sole at the next table with the speed and finesse of a Scott Hamilton back flip, only added to the confidence that you're in the right hands. Started with the best prosciutto and melon with arugula, followed by a carbonara pasta that's not on the menu (you can easily request it), and finished with a martini glass filled with marscapone cream and biscotti. Not life changing but still life affirming.
