Another Mid-Market closure. I thought The Perennial's zero-footprint mission was admirable, even if it didn't draw a loyal audience. I enjoyed my meals there and thought their cocktail program (with a focus on minimizing wasted water) was excellent.

The article doesn't specifically cite issues with foot traffic as other Mid-Market restaurants have, but in my few visits they were never even half full.
