I went to Perdix last night and was not disappointed. Not that I thought I would be, mind you. Since I go out alone most of the time, I always appreciate a good wine by the glass list. They have a Tocai from Friuli that has such a creamy, nutty finish I thought I just ate a piece of brie. For an appetizer I had a gorgonzola tart with figs, arugala and crispy prochuitto that skipped hand in hand in my mouth with the Borgogne Rouge. For my entree I ordered the speck and cabbage ravioli in a buerre blanc (another appetizer). I used to dream about it and was so happy to see it back on the menu. I also was able to sample the poblano and pulled chicken tamale much to my delight. Their menu just changed a bit, they have several small options for the after theater crowd, but still have their entree selection. I am going to get the monkfish next week!
