Peppermint Park Ice Cream to open on Polk in old Polk Street Beans space

notmichaelbauer | Feb 15, 200311:46 PM

Polk Street Beans on Polk b/t Wash. and Clay closed last month (it never was the same after new owners tried to make it like Starbucks)and the guys who own East Coast West Deli next door and the bar next to that have rented the space and are opening an ice cream parlor and desert/coffee house called Peppermint Park. Ice cream is going to be Mitchells (they claim they will have 30+ flavors!). Looking forward to this as, like the deli did last year, this fills a void in our hood. My 2 year old is going to go crazy in this place!
