Don't People In Portland Like Chinese Seafood?

I was just in Portland for my cousin's wedding, and I was amazed by two things:(1) My uncle treated us to a banquet at a Cantonese seafood parlor that was every bit as good as the joints down here in Southern California. (O M Seafood, corner of SE Powell & SE 76th) The steamed jumbo prawns and the oysters with black bean sauce were sublime. (2) The place was only HALF-FULL on a Saturday night, and that's including our party of 20 people! What gives, people? Is it SARS paranoia? By comparison, my dinner at Jake's Famous Crawfish the night before (which was PACKED) was not as satisfying as my sandwich from the Pearl Bakery. (If they could put the Pearl Bakery inside of Powell's, then I could probably live there.)
