people like to say "gado gado": Indonesian restaurant in Duarte

I'm working my way through the menu at Paradiso, a newish Indonesian restaurant in Duarte. So far I have tried the following items, all of which I recommend:

-- nasi rames (rice, fried chicken, spicy potatoes, and pickles)
-- gado gado (steamed vegetables with tofu, egg, peanut sauce, and shrimp chips)
-- bakmi goreng (Indonesian chow mein with chicken, egg, and vegetables)
-- kroket (fried mashed potatoes with chicken and vegetables)

The restaurant also features a grocery and a travel agency, the latter of which is convenient if you suddenly find yourself inspired to visit Jakarta.

This place is easy to miss. On the south side of the Huntington Drive, take a right at El Pollo Loco, drive past the India Sweets and Spices, and there you are.
