Well, a Malaysian friend took me Wednesday. Nice high spacious room, the maitre'd tried to stick us next to a pillar. Not auspcious.
Then my friend asked for a fresh coconut milk drink, "don't have it" responded our waitress who just needed to chew gum to show she really could care less. The same for the request for fresh fruit juice.
How hard is it to squeeze some juice? I scaled back any ideas of eating chili crab good nonya food...We settled for roti kanai and mee with shrimp & tofu. It was okay, but I thought the food was greasy.
My friend says it's pretty authentic, but not as hot as back home.
Our second waitress handed us the bill before my friend could order the shaved ice with red bean dessert, the air-conditioner conked out. We were sweating.
All in all, I wouldn't go back. I wish we'd gone to Kuruma.
