I'm not much of a meat eater, but I have been trying to read about Native American food, and when I read about pemmican I wondered if it actually tastes good, or if the only reason to eat it is utility. Has anyone tried pemmican?
Also, I'd love to hear any good recipes from Native American cuisine, or inspired by it, that you all might want to share. Particularly from the people native to Michigan and Indiana, if possible.
