Thank you to Peter who replied to a thread about peking duck in SF last month. You suggested Great China here in Berkeley and I just went there for lunch. It was *exquisite*. The best I've ever had. Now the challenge is to stay away since it's only 10 minutes from my office.
We also had the black mushrooms with chinese cabbage. It was also delicious. Tender cabbage and flavorsul shitake mushrooms in a not-too-cornstarchy sauce. I am going back next week!!! I've never been to or hosted a chowdown, but I sure would love to try many dishes here! If anyone has any recs, I'd love to hear em!
