Peerless Coffee - Hawaiian Island Blend (Medium and Dark Roast Beans)

Servorg | Dec 8, 201006:49 AM     2

I find this blend at the Smart & Final near our house in the classic Peerless all black bag in 2 lb size. In a quick scan of the Peerless website http://www.peerlesscoffee.com/ I didn't see this on their menu, but I may have overlooked it. On the other hand it may be something that they put together for S&F.

This solves a problem for our house, in which my wife who doesn't really care for dark roast coffee (especially at breakfast) and my taste for dark roast coffee at all times.

I love the aroma of this coffee, right from the opening of the bag and on through the grinding of the beans. Just a very rich, heady aroma. And the taste doesn't disappoint. It's full bodied and rich, yet still smooth to the taste.

This makes a great compromise for the two of us.

ADD: Although now that I looked closer at the Peerless website http://www.peerlesscoffee.com/categor... I see they have an "Island" blend that they call "Medium-dark Italian style roast is a smooth, complex blend of Hawaiian Kona and Indonesian Arabica beans." So that may well be what I am buying at S&F.
