It was built back in the 1930's in downtown Peekskill and became an entertainment venue and Westchester Landmark in the Hudson Valley. It has fallen on difficult times. To the rescue come Keith Berandi of Peekskill Brewery and Louie Lanza of Hudson Hospitality Group. They have put together a temporary funding effort called: 'Peekskill Brewery Take Over' a short-term concert series that begins April 19th. It is important to local businesses, including many local restaurants, that depend of traffic the theater generates.
Peekskill Brewery has been crafting its brews for a decade now, while restaurateur Louie Lanza owns such eateries at Hudson Room and the multi-faceted Factoria on Charles Point. Here is a news piece about it: www.patch.com/new-york/peekskill/peek... For further info about the concert series: www.paramounthudsonvalley.com
