Peches al Barolo? serving suggestions?

I recently got a jar of imported peaches in barolo wine syrup from an Italian PR event I attended. I have never had these but have some foodie friends coming over tonight who I think would love to try them. Any recipe ideas? Warm or room temp? Over good ice cream or with a sauce? Thanks in advance!
