This pecan pumpkin butter from Williams Sonoma is really great:

It can also be ordered, a tad cheaper, from the manufacturer, Muirhead:

Problem is it's pricy ($10 from WS, $6.50 from Muirhead). But one jar will get you through the season, and if you buy from a WS store after Thanksgiving, you can get it at steep discount.
So you may want to bite the bullet (slather bullet with pecan pumpkin butter first to make it palatable) and buy an expensive jar now, and mark your calendar to stock up for the future later.
BTW, TJ's pumpkin butter is nowhere near as good.
