The space formerly known as Oscar's opens today as The Pecan on Main St. Executive chef and GM Tony Morrow (Pano's & Paul's, Kyma, and 103 West) has taken over the space.
From what I have read it's going to be upscale southern including pecan sour cream biscuits, soups spiced with curry and ginger, and an in-house pastry chef rolling out items like white peach Grand Marnier souffle and sweet potato crème brulee.
It would be great to get people down to this area to support the dining scene. I'll be trying The Pecan soon.
