Help! Pearl Harbourfront at Queen's Quay

Could anyone provide some input on their dinner experience from this restaurant? I'm going to be married this summer and would like to honour the Chinese side of the family by throwing a smallish Chinese banquet for about 50 people.

I've already been to Lai Wah Heen and the hotel can provide a smaller room for us. The banquet menu runs between $780 and $880 per table of ten which made me flinch. With alcohol...we're gonna be broke!

I haven't lived in Toronto for many years and know that the "best" Chinese restaurants can be found in Scarborough and Markham but we have about 25 people flying in from Europe and the States and I am resistant to trying to get everyone out to the 'burbs.

Recently, we had dim sum at Pearl Harbourfront and because of the great view it would offer in the summer, I was considering doing the dinner there -- any thoughts would be a big help.
