I've browsed a few threads here and other websites to get clarification about how to do pearl barley in my rice cooker, but wanted further advice if anyone has any. I've seen the water ratio listed as anywhere from 1:2 to 1:2.5. Any thoughts? Typically I find that with the Zojirushi it's better to err on the side of less water than you would use stovetop, so I was going to go with 1:2. Next question is, what setting to use. Just the regular rice setting?
ETA: This is one of the Neuro Fuzzy Logic rice cookers from Zojirushi.
