Four Peaks Brewery for the All Star Game

Headed to Tempe tonight to watch the travesty that was the baseball All Star Game at the popular Four Peaks Brewery ( 8th St. in Tempe between Rural and the 101 ).

First time for me and it was pretty cool. Reminded me of my old college days. *sniff*

Sat at the bar inside and was promptly attended to with a Sunbru Kolsch. Very nice. Good for summer drinking. Ordered the shrimp bruschetta. Wow. This was an appetizer and was certainly enough for a meal. House-made focaccia bread topped with ripe plum tomatoes, basil, parmesan, and huge chunks of garlic - and quite a bit of it. Served along with 5 citrus marinated, grilled shrimp.

Very tasty I have to say and a huge portion. I ened up with that, the Sunbru, and a couple of hefeweizen. $2.75 beers and moderately priced apps. $19.00 total bill. I will definitely head back for the atmosphere and to further investigate the food
