With the weather and the traditional lull in the industry that traditionally happens this time of year, a number of places are being creative in trying to bring in the customers on the nights and at the times that are not high demand. Sometimes they are well advertised, sometimes they are more surreptitious efforts focussed on regulars. Would be nice to have a listing shared here in this thread.
Big Crow Hibernation menu: Group of starters including pickly combo salad and bread, main, dessert and canned beer discount. $30 ($5 can). Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday
The Beast 120 Menu: Five different small plates for $5, 5 to 7 pm, as well as buck a shuck. Evenings but not weekend.
Farmhouse Tavern: F73k Mondays Sunday evening specials. Buck a shuck, hourly specials with half price food from 9pm. Less interesting than it once was.
What I like about these places is that they are great about providing a great customer experience without the same condescension that sometimes happens during winterlicious.
