[PDX] Woodburn Farmer's Markets and Sunday Events

Nick | May 11, 200401:45 AM

Anyone been to the Woodburn Farmer's Market? Apparently it's every Saturday downtown, possibly in the empty lot diagonally from Salvador's. I'm interested to know if it's dominated by Latinos, making it unique.

Also, anyone know if there's an event every Sunday in the same area of Woodburn? The last two times I went on a Sunday they were having some sort of mini-fiesta. Had some great bites on Mother's Day. There were tlacoyos shaped more like gorditas or pupusas that were hand made and fantastic. (That's what's pictured.) Really good al pastor, too, and some other things you don't always see. (See the link below for more pics and a longer report.)
