(PDX) - Suburban West Breakfast - Biscuits Cafe

Calabrese | Apr 3, 200512:08 PM     2

My dining parter and I had breakfast at Biscuits on SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy. yesterday. They apparently have three other locations in Portland.

Breakfast was very good. Everything came exactly as ordered and the red potatoes were crisp. The food is a bit on the expensive side but there were four pieces of bacon included in the order and two biscuits with strawberry freezer jam and a huge side of potatoes.

Parter noticed the waffle irons are the kind she thinks make the best waffles so another visit is in the offing.

The ambience is not much to write home about but the service was good and the food arrived quickly.

If you want a good breakfast on the westside and are willing to pay for the quality, this is certainly the place.

The place was pretty crowded but we got there a bit before nine and did not have a wait. A much later arrival would have resulted in a wait.
