But I need your help, Chowhounds!
I'm the acquisitions editor for Collectors Press, an award-winning Portland-based book publisher. I was hired to develop a line of modern cookbooks. I love to eat & I love to cook. I love Portland restaurants, and there are always recipes I try to emulate at home.
That said, here's where you come in:
If you could pick a couple of restaurants or food businesses in Portland (or the Pacific Northwest) whom you think would benefit from a big high-quality mouthwateringly photographed cookbook, who would they be?
I'm hoping for off-the-beaten-path answers. Who's doing something really unique and amazing with food?
Again, I'm sorry if this sort of thing is frowned upon. I only mean the best. And I value your opinions.
