Went to this burger joint on 99W yesterday. We got an order of fish and chips and a cheeseburger. Total was $10.50, but can't remember the exact prices of each. The F&C were more expensive than the burger, though.

The burger was 1/3 lb beef, ground that day. The burgers are fried and the sesame seed buns toasted. The burger did not come with fries for its $4+ price. They have a fixings bar with tomatoes, onions, condiments, etc. The tomatoes actually looked pretty nice. Personally, I appreciate the fixings bars because it means everything doesn't get soggy ahead of time. And, you can truly "have it your way". The meat itself tasted beefy and I didn't notice a lot of gummy connective tissue. It was cooked to a nice caramelliness without being dry. You can get bacon burgers, hawaiian burgers, and a couple other specialties.

The fish and chips were decent. The fish tasted fine, but not especially moist or yummy. It's a English style batter, but I don't know if it's done freshly since it didn't seem very light. Two smallish pieces of fish for over $5. Fries are kind of homestyle/steakfries, with skins still on. Better than average, but not as crispy as I would prefer.

I thought prices were a little high for what you get, but not unfair. I don't think I'd get the F&C again, but the burgers are a decent alternative to the chains.
