Oh, there was this amazing little place in San Francisco which had the best pork tacos...just like they make them in the Yucatan, meat and juice and little onions stained pink by the juice on fresh made rolls. It's in the mission district, on Valencia, somewhere between 22nd and 18th, on the right as you're going toward 18th....but maybe beyond 18th. No clue as to the name.
Anyway, anybody know anything even close to that in Portland? Cause I'm back here now and cochinita pibil is something I thought I could only get in the Yucatan, but it exists in this country! Maybe some genius has found it here in my hometown...
