Hello all,

Now, I am not sure if this is a subject that I am allowed to inquire about on this board, or if I'll get booted off by the moderators because it's not about a restaurant, exactly. I hope not -- the question is still food-related!

Here's the deal. My boyfriend finally popped the question after four years plus of dating, and now we're in the throes of wedding planning. I'm looking for any fabulous caterer recommendations. I'd like someone who puts an emphasis on what is local and seasonal, although considering Portland's food sensibilities, it seems like that shouldn't be hard to find. We're considering Ken Gordon, who runs Ken's Place, one of our favorite restaurants, and a company called Artemis Catering also looks tempting. I'm *NOT* a Salvador Molly's fan, even though the PDX chicks chatting on indiebride.com seem to be endorsing them. And we once had a horrid experience at The White Hat, so we can't use them.

All suggestions are most welcome. Also, I apologize if this topic has already been covered on the board. I'm a pretty frequent and careful reader, and I couldn't remember it coming up in the past six months or so, so I thought I'd just post and see what happened. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Cheers, Juliarls
