[PDX] Anniversary Dinner - Higgins or Wildwood or ?

Richard | Apr 19, 200503:03 PM

My wife and I will be in Portland on our anniversary and are looking for a special restaurant to celebrate. From reading a couple months worth of posts on the board it seems like the "best" restaurants are generally thought to be clarklewis, Wildwood, Hurley's, Bluehour, Paley's Place, Higgin's and Park Kitchen. We'd like it to be a little romantic so I've ruled out clarklewis, bluehour and Park Kitchen as being either too noisy, too casual or too much of a scene. My wife is a vegetarian so that nixed Hurley's. I guess Paley's should still be on the list but several people had some pretty negative things to say and that scared me off. So that leaves Higgin's and Wildwood

Preferences? Money and location aren't an issue - hey, it's our anniversary - so is there anyplace else I should be considering?

Thanks very much,

Richard
