Last night, I and a friend had dinner at Pavarottis, which is the restaurant that replaced Karabelas at 318 S. Baltimore. We had very favorable impressions. The restaurant hasn't changed much from Karabelas, which always was a beautifully done space. The bruschetta and veal marsala were particularly good; I had pasta carbonara with prosciutto which I enjoyed very much; we also had a plate of antipasto.
However, note that this is not a cheap restaurant. Two entrees, two appetizers, and a $38.00 bottle of wine came out to $90 dollars (not including tip). Also, they are not open on Mondays.
Has anyone else been there? I would enjoy hearing what other people thought of their experience.
