That is all i wanted to say. If you haven't had a chance to experience thier pizza, then i heartily suggest you do.
We went tonight for dinner and ordered a large cheese pie. What came to us was anything but and it was obvious that "the new guy" had made it. The waiter set it on the table and before i could even comment he said, "they looked this one over and think it is to small so they made you an extra pizza which should be out soon, on the house."
"THANKS!" we said and dived in.
I am not a pizza fan, i did not like it as a child and it took me many years to appreciate the finer qualities of a good pizza. This pizza is GOOD pizza. The crust is the key. They make this crust perfectly crispy and thin. So perfect that it is like pizza in comic books, when you hold it by the end the pizza slice does not flop down. You can not fold this pizza. (some people might have a problem with that, but i don't)
The sauce is a deliciously bright and tart tomato sauce, however, i think that in some spots on the pizza, they are a tad heavy handed with the basil shaker. They do not inundate the pizza with way to much cheese so there is no obligatory patting down with napkins to remove the extra grease. And my very favorite part, they cook their pizza's to just before well done. so that the cheese looks bubbly and brown, but when you bite into it you get that wonderful stringy strand of hot cheese goodness!
I love Pauline's Pizza and if anyone that works there reads this post, then THANKYOU FOR THE EXTRA PIE TONIGHT!
we managed to consume both pies in 5 minutes. (i'm not kidding, it was gluttonous and worth every bite!)
