Patrizio's, Highland Park (Dallas)

Has anyone been to Patrizio's in Highland Park (Dallas) lately? The last three times I've been there, the service has been getting progressively worse. What's more, there have been a few lapses with the food.

For example, on one occasion, they served me the "corner" piece of the famous chicken and ham lasagne. As you can imagine, it was burnt and inedible. It was replaced by a better serving. On another visit, the same dish was cold in the center, yet the minestrone soup was heated to well over the required 175 degree for re-heated food. I had to let it cool for over 10 minutes before even attempting to eat it.

As for service, I'm used to the servers ignoring me, as single diner = small check = small tip (hence my name). In reality though, I OVER-tip. Last night, however, my waiter was MIA the entire time. Normally, this would not bother me (I already had my food), but when I have to get up and get my own water and take out box, it's a problem. The manager dude saw me get my box and follwed me to ask is everything was alright. I told him my concerns and he comp'd my meal (which I did not ask for and protested) but he kinda thought that was the best thing to do. I told him that they need to train the people better, but I've told them this for months now and nothing has changed.

I don't think Im going to go back. There is nothing that Patrizio's serves that cannot be ordered (in most cases better) elsewhere in town. I'd be interested in hearing about what type of experiences other CH's have had at this location.
