A nice evening out. My husband and I enjoy eating at Patrick's. It has a relaxing atmosphere and the prices reasonable. I ordered the Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and butternut squash. The potato and chicken had a thick creamy country sausage gravy. The food was nice and hot. The portions were on the generous side. We both love the butternut squash, but not tonight. It had a sweeter taste to it, too sweet for us. The mashed potatoes were real and tasted fresh. The chicken had been pounded thin which made it tender and the batter seasoned nicely. The problem was that there was too much batter. I had quite the pile of fried batter on my plate. My husband ordered the rotisserie sirloin. The fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The sirloin had a nice beef flavor and easy to cut. He had ordered medium rare and received medium. He chose to keep it since it did taste good. This visit meal was not up to par but we will come again. I feel we hit it on an off night.
