has been awhile, but wanted to post a lunch experience at patina over at the disney hall.
i enjoyed the space, lots of daylight came through which was nice for lunch.
had the hamachi sashimi - excellent. came drizzled with mango salsa and a coconut milk foam and wasabi oil - very nice and light - i enjoyed it
had the veal cheeks - braised and topped with a fried leek. veal was very tender and the sauce was extremely good. there was a squash "polenta" served along side, which went well texture and flavor-wise with the veal.
i know patina has been debated over on this board, but i thought for a lunch - it was quite nice.
