We Liked Patina!

We dined at Patina Sat. night and had a great time! We sat in a huge and comfy booth and had a wonderful waiter who treated us like royalty. I ordered the ocean tasting menu, and my husband had the chef's tasting menu. Since they are each 6 courses, that gave us 12 courses to taste. Plus, we each ordered a special, thus giving us 14 courses to share! One was a delicious white summer truffle risotto, and one was crab cakes. While we liked some courses better than others, all in all, I'd say the food extravaganza was an 8 1/2. We had never eaten at the old Patina, so had nothing to compare it to, and since the new Disney location has garnered some negative reviews on this board, we went in with slightly lowered expectations, knowing there had been many staff changes. That said, we really enjoyed our meal, but were glad we weren't paying for it! The tab was nearly $400 with tip, and that was with only 2 glasses of wine! If you go, go at 7:30 or 8 p.m., after the first Disney rush, but before the late night rush, and you'll be treated well.
