Where Can I Get Pastrami Salami in NYC?

Brian Greenbush | Feb 17, 2004 12:45 PM

I'm new to this so I hope that I'm posting in the right place. Anyways I'm trying to get my hands on some Pastrami Salami that I could give to someone as a gift (i.e. not to be eaten at a restaurant). As a native New Yorker I was skeptical at first, but after making some calls I found out that such a thing does theoretically exist and that it is salami cured like pastrami. That being said I still can't actually find anyplace that sells it and I've tried all the usual suspects for gourmet coldcuts, pastrami and salami (Zabars, Barney Greengrass, 2nd Ave. Deli, Katz's, etc...). I'm at a loss and up against a bit of a deadline since I'm seeing the person who I want to give it to on Saturday. If anybody can help, I'd really appreciate it.
