Its one of the best Pastrami and close to my all time best

BestTravelingChef | Dec 7, 201101:48 PM

I now have 2 all time favorites for the best Pastrami, The Hat vs The Ox, Both use the top grade navel pastrami, both lean with little fat, and great flavor.

So here is my The Hat in Rancho Cucamonga Verses The golden Ox Montebello

Price same

both meat piled high but the Golden Ox a few ounces more

Flavor of meat and dipping juices the same not salty like some

Condiments Mustard more on the Golden Ox and few more Pickles

Times Eating at each The Golden Ox 45 years The Hat once this week

Whenever I fly into So Cal, I go directly first stop after the car rental the Ox even as far as San Diego, now it will only matter where I am to which I will go. I have read reviews that the Golden Ox is the total only game, well now folks I have to say, I cant tell them apart other then the mentioned above..

My over all rating, You Both rock and have great Menus, The Hat serves big mounds of fries topped with pastrami and cheese and other toppings, you are a true hit

The Hat
Rancho Cucamonga, Rancho Cucamonga, CA
