Group of 7 of us had dinner at Pastina last night. Valet parking made it easy. Decor is nice the fact that they have carpeted floors and the tables spaced apart, it is a good place for conversation and relaxing. Waiter was very helpful and accomodating. I ordered the Burrata with Priscuitto, everyone else ordered the salad with fresh mozarella. While all the Burrata I have had has been very good, this was of a superior quality. Waiter recited the specials but Lobster Ravioli was not one of them. I asked about it and he went into the kitchen and said that they would do it. It was excellent and the other pasta dishes ordered, Shrimp with Pesto, Smoked Salmon, Pescatore were all hits as well as the Halibut entree. They were out of both the NY Cheesecake and the Choc. Mac. Tart. We tried a Torta De La Nonna, Profiteroles, and Tiramisu. All the desserts were very good, the Tiramisu being the weakest but still quite good. They served a bottle of wine that we brought with no argument. The total experience was top notch all around. I see this being a regular stop for us. They did not include the tip on the check even with our large group. We left a 20% tip and still it was only $35.00 a person out the door. Not only is the decor, service and food good but they price is also a bargain.
