Pasta Vino -- NY Class Pizza in far Atlanta Suburbs

Up in Alpharetta, out where most of the roads contain "Bridge" in their name, in a generic new strip center sits Pasta Vino.

If you pine for decent (by NYC standards) pizza, this is the best place in metro Atlanta.

A very simple menu: NY class pizza, good to exc pastas, ok salads. Even some fair priced drinkable wines. And if so inclined, order the spinach sauted with garlic--its perfect.

The pizza is very thin crust, with fresh mozzarella cheese.

The folks are very nice. Its on State Bridge Rd near the corner of Kimball Bridge Rd, at the northeast corner of the intersection

Pasta Vino is the spawn of upscale Abruzzi in the Peachtree Battle area of Buckhead.

Lately we've seen a wait for tables at peak times on weekends--so the word must be getting out.
