Pasta before orange/fennel roasted cod?

I'm looking for a good pasta course to serve before the orange-and-fennel roasted cod dish described on this page of the Food & Wine Web site:


The one given as part of the menu is pasta with spinach and chickpeas, which strikes me as a little weird to serve before roasted fish that's been marinated in orange juice.

What would you suggest as an alternative? I don't need a specific recipe, just some other flavor options.
