Best Pasta NYC

I have a business dinner and I am looking to take my guest to an Italian that serves excellent pasta.

Not interested in big portions, but just want spot on, creative, al dente, fresh ingredients, handmade fresh pasta.

I'm thinking about 50 Carmine or Lupa. How do they compare? Do you know any better places? That's the level of casualness (and price) we're striving for.
