Pasta La Vista

Great idea, good food and horrible service. They recently expanded to twice their original size and the service is now twice as bad. Make sure you check your order to see if it is right.

That said, if you want a bowl of pasta for below $10, and you are 10 blocks away from Crestanello (which I prefer), you can go to Pasta La Vista at 1375 6th Ave. They also serve crepes, thin-crust pizza (whole-wheat crust if desired) and panini. You will have to wait a while in a drafty crowded room for your food and might get some serious attitude from the cashiers, but it is worth it if you want something edible in the neighborhood and don't want to empty out your wallet.
