Hi......to refresh your memory we are staying in the 1st near Etienne Marcel. I understand that the immediate area may not be the mecca of culinary perfection and although we have made some reservations we are still in flux. My wife prefers mostly poultry, good salads, fish (she is allergic to shellfish.) Restaurants heavy in beef dishes would not work.
Made one reservation at Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie (looks like their specialty is duck) and another at Au Petit fer a Cheval (which I am not sure about.)
We will go back to Rue Saint Beauve and either Le Timbre or Moustache or both. Easy 20 minute ride on #4 metro to Vavin. We enjoyed both.
Also made a reservation at L'Apibo but it looks a little too "modern" for the tourists in us. You really did not suggest any to consider on Rue Montorgueil. We do plan to walk up Rue Montmartre and spend time exploring Passages Jouffroy, Panoramas and Verdeau. Any you suggest in that area?
Appreciate your help.
