I had dinner at Parkside on Friday, and couldn't have been happier. The meal was nearly perfect. The service was great. I had heard that the place was romantic, but I don't know about that. My boyfriend and I went there and loved the fod, but the decor was just average to us. We thought about sitting outside, but I don't think the patio decor and environment matches the quality of the food.

I had one of the cocktails with the sorbet in it, something berry, and he had the apple one. Amazing!

He did the lobster bisque for the appetizer and I had duck rilletes, which rocked! Then the lobster ravioli ravioli, which wasn't my favorite. It was good but the ravioli were a little too chewey and the insides a bit too processed for me. My boyfriends risotto with qual on it was simply amazing. For entrees I had the tuna, with a sauce I couldn't get enough of. And the bf had the rack of lamb.

We were too stuffed for dessert. This place is such a bargain, too. If only every meal in Vancouver had been this good!

A must if you visit the city.
